Lacey leaves, finely and deeply dissected, emerge pink in spring, then become orange-red with bright green petioles in summer, and finally, bright red and orange in fall. This 2' mounding, deciduous, dwarf tree is very slow growing, so would work well in a pot or perhaps on a small mound. Kawaii means "cute", translated from Japanese...aptly named.
